A toast to the Army
I spent the afternoon today on Fort Riley observing some training and interviewing soldiers so they can learn how to deal with journalists, and to evaluate that ability for their commanding officer. (Don't worry, I won't name names).
It was a really great time, and the soldiers were plenty of fun to hang out with and watch in action. The wildest part of the day was standing 20 feet from a trench manned my enemy soldiers as they raided it. I brought my camera and took pictures all day, here's the work from the trench-breaching exercise.
